Easter Morning

There were four in the bed and the little one
said, "Roll over, roll over..."

These pictures were actually taken after church
so they all look a little ragged (ie: Morgan &
Savannah's bows) It was so cold they refused
to get pics outside. The high for Sunday was
30 degrees. Brrrrr!

Happy Easter!

04-07-07
Savannah wasn't really sure what
exactly we were doing and why we
were coloring eggs. She kept trying
to sip on the dye. Yummy, vinegar!

Tanner decorated only a couple of eggs this
year. It seems that he is getting too old for
such a tradition!

Morgie loved every second of it and only wished
that there had been more eggs for her to continue
to color. She especially loved using the glass that had
her cousin Addie's picture on it!

Allie won the prize for the prettiest egg...
the one that she was working on in this picture.
It literally took her close to 15 minutes to finish.

Shaun painted these glasses for us for Christmas.
They depic the characters from the Yeti. They
are our favorite cups and they worked great for our
Easter dye. There was just enough.

The April Birthdays Begin...

4-04-07
Allie celebrated her 9th birthday!
She compiled a book of everything
she wanted for her big day including
decorations, food, the cake, her gifts,
you name it! We were nervous that
it wouldn't go off just like she planned
but we seemed to have passed with
flying colors. She had a great day!

4-06-07
Mom's birthday was great too.
Even without a "book"! Carl had
the day off so we slept in, shopped,
went out to lunch and then shopped
some more. We had a great dinner
and for the first time in many many
years I had a different cake than my
ol' standby. Cheesecake just sounded
good!
Two down, one more to go...

We're official bloggers!

Since moving to Western Nebraska we have been terrible at keeping in touch with our family and friends. In an attempt to stay better connected we are joining the blogging revolution. Figured it is a great way to journal our lives and keep everyone up to date on the
