Tanner's 14th Birthday!

Our little (well not so little) teenager with his loot. Aunt Jenni knitted him his beanie. He was disappointed when the weather got too warm to wear it. Tanner had a great birthday and at this point was anxiously awaiting his trip to Washington DC with his parents. More to come on our trip. Time sure has flown by. It seems like only yesterday that Tanner was just a little guy and now I have to look up to him to talk to him and stand on my tip toes to give him a big hug. We are so proud of the young man he is becoming. Tanner has a love of good things and for doing the right thing. He is a great example to all of us!

Easter 2009

After this Easter we have decided to take on Garry & Jenny's tradition of celebrating the Easter bunny, eggs, etc. on Saturday and focusing on the Savior on Easter Sunday. It was a crazy weekend as you can see from my little rag-a-muffins. I don't think that we even got to the eggs until 10:00. Next year we promise to do better.

Allie's 11th Birthday!

Allie's birthday this year was a little low key. She had a birthday trip to Chicago in March so we had a few friends over, chocolate mint ice cream pie & she got the tree she wanted for her room. We were a little worried that she would think it was crazy of us but she loved it and has decorated it for the different seasons. She begged at Christmas for a tree and when we were shopping the after Christmas sales we decided to go for it.

Allison Carlee is a wonderful part of our family. She is extremely mature for her age and is the best big sister two little sisters could ask for. Our home is filled with music because of her beautiful talents. It was a sunny spring morning of General Conference when she entered our lives. She has an old spirit and we feel blessed to be her parents!
